In recent years, global scandals like the Panama Papers and regional transparency reports have underscored a critical need for oversight. Accountability is not just an ethical choice but a matter of institutional design. For Aruba and the wider Caribbean, strengthening integrity is essential to preventing crime and ensuring a society that is just, fair, and economically resilient. This module addresses the urgent call for leaders who can navigate system failures and build trust in public and private institutions.
Target Audience This course is designed for current and aspiring leaders, policymakers, legal professionals, and senior managers. It is particularly valuable for those responsible for compliance, governance, and organizational ethics who wish to move beyond theory into practical anti-corruption strategies.
Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this module, you will be able to:

Program Structure This module is part of Semester 1 and consists of weekly three-hour evening seminars over a 5-week period. The sessions blend academic theory with case-study analysis of regional and international integrity breaches.
The course represents 4.5 ECTS and is held at the University of Aruba campus.
